Earlier this month, after Figma AI debuted as a set of tools for aiding designers’ process, things quickly went wrong. A designer asked Figma AI’s ‘Make Design’ feature to help him design a weather app, and on every one of his multiple tries, it produced a clone of Apple’s Weather app.
After the mishap made the news, Figma immediately disabled Make Design until a full investigation could be completed. Now, the company has outlined what went wrong and what they’re doing about it.

The Apple Watch was supposed to get a small update this year. With much of Apple’s attention focused on Apple Intelligence and other iOS 18 upgrades, plus last year bringing us the big watchOS 10 update, expectations were for an underwhelming watchOS 11 release.

Summer is in full swing here in the United States, but my traveling is over for the summer. Apple has many guidelines that developers need to follow when they want to distribute an app through the App Store, and there is an App Store Review team that checks whether apps comply with the rules. However, it’s not rare to see apps tricking Apple in order to get approved, and this happened recently with a pirate streaming app.
