Today Apple has released new beta updates, but not perhaps for the platforms we were all hoping for. Developer beta 3 is now available for visionOS 2.1, watchOS 11.1, and tvOS 18.1. However, new betas for iOS, iPadOS, and macOS are mysteriously absent.
Update 10/2/24: One day later, the public beta for tvOS 18.1 is now also available. There’s no public beta yet for watchOS 11.1, and Vision Pro has never offered a public beta.

Via Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple is set to update its entry-level iPhone SE early next year, alongside updates to the iPad Air and accessories.
The new iPhone SE will be a significant release, featuring a shift away from the dated forehead and chin bezels, replaced with an all-screen design with Face ID unlock. The new iPad Air will keep the same chassis design, with the update predominantly focused on ‘internal improvements’.

While Google seems in no hurry to build a YouTube app for Apple Vision Pro, developers such as Christian Selig (known for his work on Apollo for Reddit) have created alternative apps to access the platform on visionOS.
