I’ve owned Apple’s original MagSafe charger for many years at this point, and for all of Apple’s faults with cable builds over the years, it’s held up really well. There’s been zero fraying or stripping. I suspect a lot of this is the very nature of how you connect MagSafe to a device versus plugging in a cable, but the proof is in the pudding.
