By leaving Face ID out of the M4 MacBook Pro, Apple missed another opportunity to make its computers easier to use. Time for that to change!

A small but welcome change in Apple's iOS 18.2 and iPadOS 18.2 updates lets you confirm the “Trust This Computer” prompt with Face ID.

You can use Emojis or Unicode symbols to replace the Lock Screen's padlock glyph with the LockMoji15+ jailbreak tweak.

If it seems like Face ID isn't working on your iPad, you can speed up the process by changing a single security setting.
