Why Muggle Repack?

Hogwarts Legacy uses very slow Oodle compression library method called Kraken. It means, that while repacking of the game is possible, it would install for TWO HOURS on 32-threaded CPU, yet would be smaller only by 7.8 GB, sorcery won’t help. So instead very fast algo was used and the main gain you get here is from selective download option. And any muggle can do that, hence the “Muggle Repack” title.

Game Description
Two nations, Azuria and Vermeil, are on the brink of ruin as a crystal encroachment spreads across the land. A mysterious egg hatches two Skyscale Rathalos, legendary monsters tied to a prophecy of destruction from a war that took place 200 years ago. Players take on the role of the heir to Azuria, the kingdom’s sole Rathalos Rider and leader of the Rangers. Out in the Field – Enjoy riding your monsties in an open world built like an outdoor adventure course, ready to test the limits of your riding actions. Change Monsties on the fly, letting you easily swap through your party for riding actions like flying and wall climbing. Use actions like ranged and melee attacks on nearby monsters to gain an advantage before battle even starts.
More Paths to Victory in Battle – The turn-based battle system with Power, Speed, and Technical attacks has been further improved. The baseline of a winnable rock-paper-scissors, beloved in previous titles, remains, but we’ve added more strategic options to gain a win in battle.
Side Stories – Side stories are additional storylines centered around the protagonist and their fellow Rangers. With side stories spotlighting each of the protagonist’s friends, you can get to know them more deeply.
