The latest title in the famous Combat Mission franchise of wargames, now on Steam. Shock Force 2 brings you to a hypothetical conflict in Syria between the forces of NATO and the Syrian Army.

(Initial) Take command of US Stryker Brigade Combat Teams (SBCT) and Heavy Brigade Combat Teams (HBCT) to fight against Syrian Army Infantry, Mechanized and Armored units in an arid setting. Experience the full range of modern threats to conventional military forces, including irregular combat forces, terrorists, spies, suicide bombers, IED’s and other deadly tools employed in the asymmetric warfare of the modern day. Play the Task Force Thunder campaign, more than a dozen carefully crafted battles, or unlimited Quick Battles.
(Marines) CMSF2 Marines Module introduces the elite United States Marine Corps to the fictional 2008 Syrian setting. Syrian Airborne forces, armed with some of the latest Russian equipment, also make their debut. Accordingly this module adds a significant number of new formations, units, weapons, equipment and vehicles for both the US and Syrian sides, as well as brand new missions, maps and a campaign.
(British Forces) The full range of British heavy and light forces are included. That means all new weaponry, from the new version of the L85A2 rifle to the Challenger 2, are all portrayed in Combat Mission’s usual fine level of detail. As a bonus feature the US Army’s Infantry Brigade Combat Team formations and equipment are also included, which rounds out the US Army force types.
(NATO Forces) Now you have a chance to play with the forces of three additional NATO countries; Germany, Canada, and the Netherlands. Each force is truly unique, not only from each other but from all other forces available in Combat Mission. Tactics and even strategies need to be adjusted to take into consideration the differences in organization, equipment, and intended uses.
(Battle Pack) Combat Mission Shock Force 2: Battle Pack expands the modern warfare sandbox with a focused set of intense, small-scale engagements set in the turbulent aftermath of a hypothetical NATO invasion of Syria. Damascus has fallen, but the war is far from over. Regime loyalists, isolated military units, and local militias continue to resist across the country, some determined to fight to the last man, others prepared to wage a grinding insurgency against occupying forces. Battle Pack places players directly into these unstable flashpoints, emphasizing tactical decision-making, asymmetric warfare, and hard-fought urban and rural combat.
