If you could go back to the early days of the internet, would you handle your privacy differently? Most of us would. We would be more cautious about the services we joined and the information we shared. Since a time machine is not an option, we have to deal with the reality of the present. Your personal data is currently available and for sale at this very moment.
Right now, your phone number, email address, home address, and even your family connections are being packaged and sold to marketers, insurers, and hackers. While Apple’s privacy protections in Safari and Mail help block some tracking as you browse the web, they cannot undo years of information already scraped and spread across hundreds of broker databases. Data brokers have built a multi-billion-dollar industry by collecting your digital data, packaging it, and selling it. It’s time to take your personal information off the market and off the internet. Let’s look at how.

Each time we buy a phone, we have to decide which storage tier to go for, and that requires a judgment call – not just about how much storage we need today, but how much we are likely to need for however long we end up keeping the phone.
There are times when we’ll get this wrong, but fortunately there’s a simple solution to your storage woes: the SANDISK® Phone Drive for iPhone.

I have used plenty of docking stations over the years, and it seems the desktop dock market is as crowded as ever. I have tested smaller portable docks, to larger stationary docks that give you all the ports you would ever need. But the new iVANKY FusionDock takes a different approach. Instead of just adding more ports, this Thunderbolt 5 dock is built around sustained reliability even while under heavy professional workloads. It can support multiple high-resolution displays, fast SSDs, NAS transfers, and full MacBook Pro performance all running simultaneously. If you are a power user and you need a powerful dock to match your workflow, the FusionDock Ultra is worth considering. Here’s why.

For Apple users, storage never feels finished. iPhone photo libraries keep growing, Macs fill up with large projects and downloads, and the monthly services meant to solve the problem can become another subscription to track.
pCloud’s 4th of July promotion takes a different approach: pay once for lifetime cloud storage, then keep using it across your devices without monthly or annual renewal fees.
For a limited time, pCloud is offering up to 70% off its Individual Lifetime plans, and each plan includes pCloud Encryption for free for life. Storage options range from 1 TB to 10 TB.

Amazon Prime Day is here again, and it provides an unmissable opportunity to upgrade your home with Roborock’s smartest vacuums at the lowest prices ever offered.
The offers run from June 23 to June 26, and apply to a wide range of the company’s products – from the entry-level Q7 M5 Plus all the way up to the flagship Saros 20.

Soccer season has a way of starting at exactly the wrong time. You’re running errands, waiting in the parking lot, or stuck away from the TV when the match finally kicks off. While your car screen is great for maps and music, it’s usually not set for match day streaming.
That’s what Ottocast wants to change this Summer Soccer Celebration. OttoAibox E2, OttoAibox P3 Pro, and Play2Video Ultra turn compatible car displays into entertainment hubs. Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, streaming apps, and split-screen multitasking are included without replacing your car’s built-in head unit. Ottocast gives you a much better way to stay connected to the match.

There are a number of ways to share your location with family and friends, from Apple’s built-in Find My app to location pins in messaging apps like WhatsApp. HeyPolo aims to deliver smarter features, including even greater privacy controls than available in the Find My app.
The app was developed by the team behind leading VPN provider Surfshark, with seven key features on offer.

When you’re using Apple hardware, you just want things to work – to feel native and seamless – and that’s exactly what MSI had in mind with the PRO MAX 271UPXW12G monitor. Boasting a pixel-dense 4K resolution on a 27-in screen with a QD-OLED display, this MSI monitor is designed for easy macOS integration and offers a wide variety of thoughtful features. It’s a productivity-focused monitor that might actually be good for gaming as well. Be sure to check out the video below for more details.

If you’re going to create a display designed to be used with MacBooks, it’s going to need to be stylish, and the MSI PRO MAX delivers. The back of the panel may be larger than other modern monitors, but that also houses the power brick, meaning there is only a simple IEC cable to plug in.
It has a thin bezel, and the light colorway has an air of modern elegance. There’s nothing extravagant or gaudy; everything on the PRO MAX fits right in with Apple aesthetics.
On the back, there is a host of connection ports, including dual HDMI, dual USB Type-C, and DisplayPort. The USB-C connection can provide up to 98W of power for a MacBook Pro, while a 2nd USB-C connection allows for 15W to charge an iPhone or iPad.
A simple stand makes the monitor sleek but also allows for plenty of adjustability. It can easily tilt, turn, twist, and raise to get in the right position. It will raise just enough to fit a 14-in MacBook Pro in front and under the display.
Adjusting the monitor can be accomplished with a single hand. Everything is well balanced – even moving the screen up or down. Whether it’s a main display or a vertical-oriented monitor on the side, the MSI PRO MAX has plenty of adjustability.
Of course, there is a standard menu control, but MSI also has an app for macOS that allows for easy customization of the monitor without fumbling with OSD buttons. If you’ve ever navigated a monitor menu without really knowing which button goes where, you’ll appreciate the ability to tweak settings with your mouse from an app, rather than maneuvering through an on-screen menu.
Two notable options in the MSI app (or OSD) are M-Color and M-Sync.
M-Color will sync the monitor’s color profile to match a connected MacBook’s display for consistent color. Creatives who are concerned about color accuracy will find this a great benefit to their workflow.
Additionally, M-Sync enables easy control of brightness and volume from your MacBook’s controls – another way the MSI PRO MAX makes Mac workflow feel seamless.
Another way MSI had creatives in mind with the PRO MAX by including composition guides built into the monitor’s OSD with options for the rule of thirds, golden ratio, diagonal lines, and more.
Despite being built specifically for Mac workflows, the variety of inputs is a perfect match for the 3-way KVM, which enables the use of the same keyboard and mouse across a Mac, iPad, and PC – great for multiplatform setups.

Besides easy-to-use controls and a clean design, the panel of the PRO MAX is also feature-packed for creatives.
A 4th Gen QD-OLED panel is more efficient than previous generations and delivers crisp 4K resolution in a 27-in package. That gives it a pixel density of 166 ppi – great for Mac-style text rendering.
It’s also treated with protective and anti-glare coatings that make it a perfect fit for bright working conditions. Even when I had my video lighting aimed at the PRO MAX, the monitor was usable – something that is nearly impossible on glossy screens in bright environments.
I was impressed with the viewing angles of this panel, as well. While moving around to take pictures and video of the monitor, the monitor looked great from every angle.

One of my complaints with productivity-focused monitors is that they often don’t have good high enough refresh rates for doubling as a suitable gaming monitor – that’s not the case with the MSI PRO MAX. With 4K resolution and up to 120Hz, it’s a great option for getting work done, but it will also make your games smooth.
So if you’re looking for a do-it-all monitor with the design and Mac-focused features that will enhance your Mac workstation, check out the MSI PRO MAX 271UPXW12G.

We manage huge chunks of our life online these days, which means there is a mass of personal data entrusted to a range of different companies. You probably already use Apple privacy tools like App Tracking Transparency, Hide My Email, and iCloud Private Relay, but none of that helps with data that is already out there publicly exposed on the internet.
Even things as seemingly innocuous as our hobbies and interests can be valuable data when it comes to those who want to try to sell us things or – worse – to scam us.

Data brokers make a living by selling your personal information for profit. Your phone number, email, home address, and Social Security number could be packaged and sold to spammers, scammers, and identity thieves right now. Your privacy loss is their gain.
Apple’s privacy protections can help block some but not all tracking as data harvesting efforts become increasingly sophisticated. If you want to proactively and continuously remove your personal data from broker databases, Incogni makes it easier than ever to fight back and regain control of your privacy.

One of the key features of MacBooks is the care Apple takes over color calibration. That’s great when you’re using your MacBook, but things can change as soon as you plug it into an external monitor, when you can see markedly different colors.
That’s because most monitor companies don’t tune their colors in the same way Apple does. But BenQ does exactly that with its latest MA series monitors …
