Apple reported its fiscal Q3 2025 earnings today, beating analyst expectations in key categories like revenue, earnings per share, iPhone revenue, and more.

According to Major League Baseball Commissioner Rob Manfred, Apple is among the companies that have submitted a bid for the rights to the iconic Sunday Night Baseball broadcast, starting in 2026.

In an interview with CNBC, Manfred said that Apple, NBC, and ESPN have all submitted bids for the Sunday Night Baseball package.

Apple is expanding its collection of Apple News+ Puzzles with yet another new game. This time, Apple is tapping into something we all know and love: emoji.

Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition is officially coming to the Mac this week. CD PROJEKT RED has announced that the game will be available on Thursday, July 17 for Macs powered by Apple Silicon through the Mac App Store, GOG.com, Steam, and Epic Games Store.

The launch of Cyberpunk 2077 on the Mac follows the debut of Assassin’s Creed Shadows on the Mac earlier this year.

Earlier this year, Apple pledged a $500 billion investment in the United States over the next four years. Now, the company is further expanding that pledge with a $500 million plan to “launch an all-new recycling facility for processing recycled rare earth elements.”

Apple Maps is full of updates as part of iOS 26, including a new Liquid Glass design and Preferred Routes proactive feature.

macOS Tahoe 26 will be released to everyone later this year, and it brings a handful of notable new features to the Messages app. There are new customization options, upgraded search functionality, group message improvements, and more.

Earlier this week, the Financial Times reported that Apple was in active negotiations to acquire the streaming rights for Formula 1 in the United States.

Business Insider now builds on that report and says that “barring a last-minute change,” Apple is poised to secure this deal.

As is tradition, Apple CEO Tim Cook is in attendance at the Sun Valley Conference in Idaho this week. Apple is planning for a busy start to 2026. A new report from Bloomberg details that Apple is working on updates for various iPhone, iPad, and Mac models destined for the first half of 2026.

Perhaps most exciting for many people, however, is that Apple is also planning to release a new external display for the Mac next year.

Belkin has announced that it is ending support for most of its Wemo smart home products. Customers will lose access to the Wemo app, any features that rely on cloud connectivity, customer support, and more. It’s effectively the end of the Wemo smart home brand.

With iOS 26, Apple has made a key strategy shift: it’s no longer pre-announcing major new features that won’t be available for months to come.

Here’s why I think that’s a great decision by Apple, and why it could make for an exciting 12 months.

Apple today announced that COO Jeff Williams will retire later this year, with Sabih Khan set to assume the COO role later this month.

In addition to his role as COO, however, Williams is also responsible for overseeing Apple’s design team. Once Williams officially retires later this year, Apple says that the design team will begin reporting directly to Apple CEO Tim Cook.
