AMD has introduced a new developer-focused tool called Driver Experiments, which enables users to troubleshoot problems by disabling certain GPU-related functionality in a specific app or game from the driver itself.
AMD's latest 24.9.1 drivers highlight upscaling and downscaling improvements in its Adrenalin Software. Universal support for AFMF 2 (Fluid Motion Frames 2) also gets a proper release now.
Nvidia has updated its Nvidia App with a plethora of new features, including driver rollback, G-Sync, and RTX HDR. Nvidia will also sunset GeForce Experience before 2025 and migrate all users to the Nvidia App before the end of the year.
