UPDF: The first AI-driven PDF tool designed for Mac, iOS, and iPad [sponsored]

作者 Cody Lee

There is perhaps no tech category as dull or overstuffed as PDF software. There are countless apps for reading, editing, annotating, and converting, and each one is more boring than the last. But what if there was a way to shake things up? Enter UPDF—an AI-powered PDF tool that’s making waves as a standout alternative to Adobe Acrobat. UPDF is a comprehensive, easy-to-use app that allows you to perform all the above-mentioned functions, as well as chat with any PDF file. It's available for Mac, iPhone, and iPad, and it follows a similar concept as Apple Intelligence and other recently announced AI-infused products: it's time we started working smarter, not harder.

Apple announces Apple Watch Series 10 with bigger display, thinner design, and fast-charging battery

作者 Cody Lee

Apple kicked off its September event today by announcing a significant update to its flagship wearable line: the Apple Watch Series 10. It features a brighter, bigger display—even bigger than the Ultra—and a softer, thinner design. It's not the total redesign some of us were hoping for, but there is enough here to lure many previous Watch owners to upgrade.

You won’t believe how good this $25 mechanical keyboard is

作者 Cody Lee

Amazon right now has the Keychron C3 Pro keyboard on sale for just $25. I may not exactly be a keyboard expert, but I am pretty damn good at researching products, and the reviews from both experts and consumers alike suggest this keyboard offers incredible value at this price. The C3 Pro is a custom gaming keyboard with 87 programmable keys, red LED backlight, and red switches for premium tactile feedback. It also features a 1000Hz polling rate for fast and responsive typing and QMK/VIA software support that makes mapping keys super easy.

I just bought this mouse for 15% off and you should too

作者 Cody Lee

It's not very often I get to pitch something I just bought myself–I'd go broke if I purchased every deal, every day—but I am happy to be able to do that today. Over the long weekend I grabbed a Logitech MX Master 3S on sale for 15% off. I have long been a fan of the Logitech MX family, and after using a lightweight RGB gaming mouse for the past year or so, I was itching to rejoin it. I've only been using the Master 3S for a few days now, but it is everything you'd want in a wireless mouse. It's comfortable, accurate, and powerful. It has ultra-fast scroll wheels, several customizable buttons, and can quickly switch between three devices. The battery can last for up to 70 hours, you can charge it via USB-C while using it, and a quick 1-minute charge gives you three hours of usage.

Run, don’t walk to this 61% off deal on the Keychron Q4 compact mechanical keyboard

作者 Cody Lee

If I needed a new keyboard, and it didn't have to be wireless, I would absolutely jump on this Keychron deal that Woot is running right now. It takes 61% off the Keychron Q4 Wired Custom Mechanical Keyboard, which knocks the price down from $180 to just $70. The Q4 is an impressive keyboard with a condensed 60% layout, a full aluminum frame, and it's extremely customizable. It features hot-swappable Gateron G Pro Red switches, double-shot PBT keycaps w/ RGB backlighting, and all keys can be easily remapped.

作者 Cody Lee

Everyone always wants to wait until the new year to start working on their health, but you can do it right now with this deal on the Wyze Smart Scale X. It's a feature-packed digital scale that offers a ton of a value at its normal retail price of $50, and today it's on sale for just $37. The Smart Scale X can measure your weight, bone mass, body fat percentage, muscle mass percentage, and so much more. Other features include BMI and heart rate measurements, pet and baby modes, support for up to 8 users, and it works with Apple Health, Fitbit, and Google Fit.

This 100W Baseus Blade USB-C power bank is over 50% off right now

作者 Cody Lee

Stop what you are doing and check out the deal Amazon is running right now on the Baseus 100W Blade USB-C Power Bank. It's on sale for just $60, which is more than 50% off its $130 retail price, and just a few dollars off its all-time low. The deal is exclusive to Prime members; a free 30-day trial can be found here. The Blade is an absolute power house, with 100W max charging and 20000mAh capacity. It can charge everything from your AirPods to your laptop. It has two USB-C ports and two USB-A ports, meaning it can charge up to four devices at once, and it is thin enough that it won't take up much space in a bag or backpack.

作者 Cody Lee

Apps of the week

We are back, folks! It's the weekend again, and that means it's time for another Apps of the Week roundup. I am personally psyched about this week's picks, which include a random exercise app, a digital companion for pet owners, and a RAW B&W photo app. And as always, we have selected a fun game for you to check out.

Time is running out to grab this Cooler Master 65% wireless mechanical keyboard for just $35

作者 Cody Lee

I am going to be more brief here than usual because we are on a time crunch! At the time of posting, there are less than 10 hours left on this Cooler Master keyboard deal. The CK721 is a wireless gaming keyboard with a 65% layout, mechanical switches, customizable RGB lighting, and a 3-way dial, and if you hurry, you can grab it for 65% off.

This 10000mAh USB-C Anker power bank w/ cable is a steal at $18

作者 Cody Lee

This might be one of my favorite power bank deals we've ever done. I know I say that about a lot of deals but I mean it, and I mean it about this one too. It's the Zolo USB-C Power Bank from Anker, and it typically retails for $26, but today you can get it for just 18. The Zolo has a lot of things going for it. It features 10000mAh capacity, 30W of power for fast-charging, and an LED status display. It also has a sleek rounded design, and a built-in USB-C cable, that doubles as a lanyard, so you never have to worry about carrying one separately.

Yes, you should grab this iOttie dashboard iPhone mount with Qi charger at 42% off

作者 Cody Lee

If I needed to buy a new dashboard mount for my iPhone, and really any other smartphone, I would absolutely take advantage of this deal on the iOttie Auto Sense Qi Wireless Car Charger. It's a highly-rated accessory that typically retails for $60, but right now it's on sale for just $35. The Auto Sense does just that—it senses when you have put your phone into the cradle, and it automatically opens and closes the arms. Additional features include a built-in Qi wireless charger with up to 10W of power, tons of adjustability, and a Dash Pad base with super strong suction.

Outside, Pipilo, Folio, and other apps to check out this weekend

作者 Cody Lee

Apps of the week

We made it everyone! It's the weekend again! And that means it's time for another Apps of the Week roundup. And as always, we've selected a fun game for you to check out.

Now is your chance to grab a 4K dash cam for nearly 50% off

作者 Cody Lee

I'm only just now beginning to realize how valuable a dash cam can be. If you're in an accident, or if something happens to your vehicle in a parking lot, a good dash cam can give you clear video of what happened so you can show the police or insurance company. If you can prove you aren't liable for a major accident, we are talking a potential thousands in savings. With this in mind, you should really consider today's deal on the Miofive S1 Dash Camera. It's a 4K camera with 3-inch display that offers collision detection with route, location, and speed logging, 24-hour parking lot protection, and quick video downloads to your smartphone. It's highly rated, it comes with a 30-day money back guarantee, and right now it's just $56.

You don’t want to miss this 100W Anker USB-C charger + cable combo deal for just $40

作者 Cody Lee

On its own, Anker's 736 USB-C charger is a fantastic deal at $40. It typically retails for around $60, and this price marks a new all-time low, according to Amazon Price History. With that in mind, you can understand why this is a 'can't miss' deal when you throw in a free Anker 6ft USB-C cable. The cable itself is kind of meh, other than that it is 6ft long and comes with Anker's 2-year warranty. The charger, however, is super impressive. It features two USB-C ports, each capable of producing up to 100W of power, and a USB-A port. Plus it's compatible with most major fast-charging platforms.

Game on: get Corsair’s Elite wireless 7.1 gaming headset for just $80

作者 Cody Lee

This isn't your typical budget gaming headset. This is Corsair's Void RGB Elite wireless gaming headset and it usually retails for more than $100. However, Amazon is running a deal right now that drops the price of the Elite down to just $80—a near 30% discount, no Prime or promo codes required. I'm not super familiar with this headset, but I am very good at research, and between the Amazon review rating of 4.5-stars and the glowing reviews from various forums, I'd say these are a very solid buy. Highlights include 7.1 surround sound, 14+ hour battery life, low latency, and extreme comfortability.

Get Spigen’s ArcHybrid Mag battery pack at an all-time low $20

作者 Cody Lee

We are big fans of Spigen's iPhone cases, screen protectors and other accessories, so of course we had to pass along this deal. Amazon right now has the company's ArcHybrid Mag battery pack on sale for just $20—no Prime account or promo codes required. This is an all-time low price for the pack, which averages around $45 according to Amazon Pricing History, and retails for $60. The ArcHybrid Mag features MagSafe compatibility for a secure wireless connection and a USB-C port for pass-through charging.

PSA: Best Buy is giving free $10 GCs with iTunes Gift Card purchases

作者 Cody Lee

Heads up fellow Apple users: Best Buy is currently offering free $10 gift cards with the purchase of $100 iTunes Gift Cards. You can choose between digital or physical cards. The former would obviously be delivered via email, almost immediately after checking out, and the latter would require shipping or pickup. The cool thing about iTunes cards is that they can be used for anything in the Apple digital space like apps, games, movies, books and even subscription services like Apple TV+.

PSA: Apple AirPods Max are on sale for just $400 right now

作者 Cody Lee

A person using AirPods Max with iPad

This is just a friendly PSA to all of my fellow deal-hunting Apple fans out there: Amazon right now has the AirPods Max on sale for just $400. This is $150 cheaper than Apple currently has them listed for, and just $5 off the all-time low-price. So if you are even remotely in the market, this might be your sign to buy. Yes, it's true these headphones are likely nearing the end of their lifecycle, as rumors suggest we'll see an updated model with USB-C before the end of the year. But if you dig the design of the Max and don't mind dealing with a Lightning cable or an adapter, you probably won't see a price much cheaper than this anytime soon.

Dumb Phone, Remind Me Faster, Simply Draw, and other apps to check out this weekend

Apps of the week

It's the weekend again, folks, and you know what that means: it's time for another Apps of the Week roundup! This week we have some great picks for you, including a minimal theme maker for your home screen, an app for creating quick reminders, and an app that teaches you how to draw. And as always, we've selected a fun game for you to check out.

I can’t believe you can get the Beats Studio Buds wireless earbuds on sale for just $70

作者 Cody Lee

The headline may be a little cheesy, but the deal is for real. Right now, Woot is offering brand new pairs of Beats Studio Buds wireless earbuds for just $70. The only caveat is that they are shipped in generic bulk packaging, versus the graphics-laden retail packaging, but other than that, they are new—you get the same one year Apple warranty and they are eligible for AppleCare. At $70, this is a fantastic deal, given that these earbuds typically retail for $150 and the average sale price is $100. It gets even better when you realize how good the Studio Buds actually are. They feature active noise cancelling, support for Spatial Audio and Hey Siri, IPX4 rating for sweat resistance, and they get high marks in terms of comfort, build materials, and sound quality.

This iPhone-friendly Samsung 1TB SSD is on sale for just $73

作者 Cody Lee

Samsung T7 SSD USB-C for iPhone

The introduction of the USB-C port on iPhone 15 opened up Apple's handset to a new world of accessories, including portable SSDs. Using the Files app and other supported apps, you can access files stored on external USB-C devices connected to your iPhone, like this one from Samsung that is currently on sale.  It's the Samsung T7 Portable SSD, which is a massively popular product in this space, and more specifically, it's the 1TB model. You get USB 3.2 Gen 2 connectivity with 1GB read and write speeds, a solid aluminum unibody with drop protection, and 256-bit hardware encryption for just $73.

Checker, VOKA 3D Human Anatomy, Capacities, and other apps to check out this weekend

What comes after Friday? Well, technically Saturday. But the answer I am looking for is: the weekend! This means it's time for another Apps of the Week roundup, and this week, we have some great picks for you, including a habit tracker with pretty widgets, a 3D human atlas, and a powerful notes app. And as always, we've selected a fun game for you to check out.

You need to grab the Xbox Core wireless controller while it’s on sale

作者 Cody Lee

Ever since Apple enabled us to pair wireless controllers with our iPhones and iPads, I have been pro iOS gaming. So-called 'mobile' games these days are not too far off their console counterparts in terms of quality and playability, and they are either free or cost a fraction of the price. Now, I am personally a PlayStation guy myself, but I won't argue that the Xbox Core controller is one of, if not the, best on the market. It has a great ergonomic shape, dual analog sticks, a contoured D-pad, and tons of other desired features, and right now it's on sale for just $44.

10 reasons why this Philips 4K display is a must-buy at nearly 40% off

作者 Cody Lee

As you probably know, we tend to keep our daily deals budget-friendly. That's why you see so many batteries, chargers, and other accessories—we try to strike a delicate balance between finding things that you actually need and want to buy, and things that are affordable enough that you will buy.  But I'm throwing all of that out of the window for today's deal, because it's simply too good to pass up. This is the Philips Creator Series 4K display. It has a 27-inch frameless IPS panel, USB-C docking with 96W PD charging, a built-in KVM switch and tons of ports, a 4-year warranty, and it's currently at an all-time low price of $210.

Need a new wall charger? Grab the 65W Anker Nano II with three ports for just $30

作者 Cody Lee

If I were looking to purchase a new wall charger today, regardless of the use-case, I would pick up this Nano II from Anker. It's powerful and reliable enough to use as an every-day charger, it has both USB-C and USB-A ports for broad device compatibility, and its compact size and foldable plugs make it excellent for travel or storage. It also comes with an 18-month warranty, and it's currently on sale for just $30.

Yes, you should probably grab this 15.6″ portable display for just $57

作者 Cody Lee

I'm not in the business of telling folks how to spend their money, but if you were to ask me, "Cody, should I buy this monitor on sale for $57?" My answer would be yes. You are talking about a near-16" display that is thin and light and can be used for everything from a portable gaming screen to a backup Mac display. The brand is BIGASUO, but you don't really need to know that. The reality is that these things are all made in a handful of factories, and dozens (hundreds?) of companies buy them and slap their sticker on them. All you need to know is that it has a 1080p panel, both USB-C and HDMI inputs, and it's just $57.

If I needed a new keyboard, I’d get this Keychron K6 on sale for $50

作者 Cody Lee

I’ve collected around a dozen keyboards over the past several years. I have two from Apple, two or three from Logitech, a Keychron, a Lemokey, and a few others from random brands. Needless to say, I don’t need a new keyboard, but if I did, this is the one I would get. This is the Keychron K6 Wireless Mechanical Keyboard. It features hot-swappable Gateron G Pro Blue switches; it’s compatible with both Mac and Windows; and it can connect to up to three devices via Bluetooth. It also has a 65% layout, meaning it’s much more compact and portable than a full-sized keyboard, and right now it’s on sale for just $50.
