作者 Benjamin Mayo
2025年6月8日 21:07

Tomorrow, at 10 AM Pacific Time, Apple will unveil the next-generation versions of its operating systems, including iOS 19 (now expected to be named iOS 26) for iPhone. The flagship change for the new iPhone software will be a dramatic visual redesign, which the company will also roll out across all of its other operating systems for a consistent new look on every Apple device.

Review: CalDigit TS5 Plus Thunderbolt 5 dock – a supercharged version of the best dock for Mac [Video]

作者 Jeff Benjamin
2025年6月8日 01:12

It’s hard to believe, but it’s been over seven years since I first got my hands on CalDigit’s TS3 Plus dock, and during its heyday, I labeled it as the best dock for Mac users. Since then, CalDigit released the TS3’s successor, appropriately called the , which offered a refined take on its predecessor.

Now, with the advent of Thunderbolt 5 adoption for the latest M4 Pro Macs and higher, CalDigit is back with an even more powerful version of its TS-series dock – the CalDigit Thunderbolt Station 5 Plus, or TS5 Plus for short. Yes, CalDigit has retuned to its “plus” nomenclature of the past, as it plans to offer a less powerful 15-port version of the TS5 in the future.

The TS5 Plus, of course, includes support for Thunderbolt 5, but is there any other reason why prospective buyers should consider it over the already great TS4? Perhaps! Watch my hands-on video review for a closer look, and be sure to subscribe to 9to5Mac on YouTube for more Mac peripheral coverage.

GenAI is not coming to the enterprise security space. It is already here and being used to run faster phishing, smarter malware, and more convincing spoofing campaigns from hackers. 作者 Marcus Mendes
2025年6月7日 04:37

If you had asked anyone six months ago what Apple’s biggest 2025 play would be, the obvious answer would’ve been “AI.” Maybe “home.” But gaming? You’d have been hard pressed to find anyone willing to bet on that. And yet, that’s exactly what it’s starting to look like.

It’s no secret that AI is improving the way scammers operate. Phishing texts are more convincing than ever, and malicious emails can look legitimate for longer than just a glance. 2025年6月7日 00:00

More than a decade ago, I noted a shift that was taking place in my tech usage, with reader comments indicating I was far from alone. Essentially I started out wanting manual control over lots of processes before later opting for the convenience of allowing Apple apps and services to automate them.

I think we’re approaching another of those inflection points – this time courtesy of AI. Whenever Apple Intelligence evolves into something powerful, we’re going to have to decide exactly how much control we’re willing to hand over …
